Gaffney Kid's photo shoot!

So I was brave and did a quick photo shoot of my kids. I had wanted to do this way earlier in the summer, BUT with all of my health problems that did not happen. So here we go!  I did pretty good with have four kids ages: 8, 6, 4 and 2!

Lilly, Ben, Emma and JJ!

This is my favorite one!  Describes my youngest two!  JJ tries to take off and Emma reigns him in! lol

And JJ decided to get in Emma's photos! lol

It took a lot of silly faces to get the giggles and smiles and I got at least a decent shot with the dog in there!  Kids did great!

So I've been having some practice and fun with photography!

As some may know about me, I love to capture memories in photography.  I will admit, auto mode has been my comfort zone and I haven't wanted to step out of it. However, I know to become a great photography I need to start using manual focus and I need to start learning now. But not only am I slowly learning that, I've learn to do macro photography and I am really having fun with it. I don't have a lot of extra time, but when I do get a chance to get out and do it, it's very peaceful for me and I highly enjoy it.

So I'd like to share some of my practice makes perfect. First, my macro photography.  This was so neat to discover I could actually do this!  Here are some that I've taken.

*WARNING those that do not like bugs, there are bug photos in these. You've been warned!

I'm not a fan of spiders, but since I'm practicing, they really are a joy to photograph!

So as you can see the macro is FUN!  I've also just have been practicing doing manual focus as well. Here are some of them.

Happy to get this capture of a happy Emma!

I had a squirrel who was very polite and decided to hang around for a few photos!

I dunno, can you tell I am loving my sunflowers?

So there is a tad bit of my photography that I'm slowly learning and teaching myself. I hope you enjoyed them, and I can't wait to share more with you in the future!
