Hello Santa!

So today we all go to meet Santa!  Santa stopped at Petsmart to sit and take photos with family members and their furry members as well!  Lilly when we got there walked right up to Santa and climbed into his lap and told him our dogs name and everything.  Boo was freaking out.  And as soon as we handed Ben over to the big guy, tears and screams could be heard all around the store. Hahahaha

It was a success.  Boo even wore her reindeer antlers! :)

We have three dove eggs!  I wonder if they all will hatch or just one or two?

We are getting excited to see our family here soon!

Christmas is a week away! Oh MY!

Whew is Christmas really only a week away?  Time has flown by!  We can't wait to see our family this Christmas.  Even if only for a few days!  Our Christmas shopping is done.  Just waiting for a few gifts to (hopefully) arrive in the mail before Christmas!

The kids are getting super excited too about Santa's arrival.  Lilly and I even wrote a letter to Santa!

She was so excited to be able to write to Santa.  She even asked for Littlest Pet Shops.  And with out missing a beat, she said "momma what about Ben?"  And she even asked for something for Ben from Santa.  It was too cute!

She even helped Auntie make peanut butter balls!

Her and I will be making a couple kinds of treats to bring with us to share with everyone!

Our baby dove is now 17days old!  He is flying, eating seed and perching with the adults.  Soon he will be able to go to a new home.  Our doves in the past two days have also laid two more eggs!  How exciting!

Our baby gerbils are about a month old now. Eyes are opened, they are moving around (and boy are they fast and have NO fear what so ever!), they eat seed, but still eat from momma too and they are running in the gerbil wheel for exercise!  Here the week after Christmas we will be able to seperate them from momma and put them in separate cages (males and females) until we find them new homes.

We are doing well.  The kids and I are excited to be coming up to see our family for the holidays!

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree.....

Yesterday we got our Christmas tree!  Only to find out our lights weren't working. (outside ones some too).  Joy, but we got new lights and Ta DA tree is up!

The gate helps keep Ben out, for the most part.  He still climbs the love seat and knocks down the ornaments that way.  My children are WAY too smart for their own good. lol  It's a good thing and a bad thing I suppose!

Our baby dove is now finally nine days old. Look at the feathers he's got now!

It's hard to believe they grow so fast.  With in two weeks of being hatched he will begin to fly!  We have ten finch eggs being incubated.  Found three new ones in another nest.  Our canary has two, most likely will lay the third and last one tomorrow sometime. :)  The baby gerbils are growing fast.  Their eyes should be opening here in a few days.  We found out we have three males and two females.  Too cute!

Lilly the other day borrowed a friends Santa hat and loved wearing it....

She is getting to be such a ham like her little brother. :)

Today Ben was having a hard time sleeping for his nap.  We are cutting his bottles to once in the morning and once at night and during his nap time he wasnt' happy.  So two hours of this....

And he finally napped and napped for three hours!

Ben watched the 49er's game with daddy last Sunday.  Just chilln'

He's getting such a personality!

Monday was Angies Birthday so in her honor I tried my best to make her a twilight cake:

For making it last minute I think I did pretty well.  :)  She loved it!

Here are two videos of the kids dancing and playing together. So cute!  These moments are are coming around more often and we are loving it!

We are doing good and are looking forward to hopefully coming up for the holiday to see our families!

Christmas Update!

Hello friends and family!!
Update on our plans for Christmas.  Because of all the new babies in the house, we will be up for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  IF we have baby finches in the next few weeks, we will have to cancel and stay home.  So we will keep you updated as we find out any new information!

The new baby dove is doing excellant!  Here is the baby dove today at four days old:

Momma and Daddy are taking great care of the baby!  In less than two weeks of being born he/she will be fledging the nest and flying!

Our baby gerbils we are guessing were born around November 24th, 2009.  They are doing great, all five of them.  Here they are:

Tonight I'm hoping to be able to sex them. (see who are boys and girls LOL).

The kids, Matt and I are doing well.  We will be getting our Christmas tree in two weeks.  We are so excited to get it!

Today Ben fell asleep while eating lunch...

I'm enjoying a child that can fall asleep anywhere. :)  He loves to say No now.  Lilly is still talking more and more.  Yesterday we had no accidents with potty training.  So she got to pick a prize from her prize box for doing so.  Today, well has been the opposite.  Five accidents in an hour.  While she tells us after, we need her to tell us before. Oh well, tomorrow we try again!

We will keep you updated on our Christmas plans.  So for now we will be up Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!  So dad get ready for us! ;) Cause we're staying with you!

We Love You All!

Hello!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year.  We are hoping to set up our Christmas tree and decorations here this coming weekend.  We are getting so excited to do this.

We are potting training Lilly.  It's going as well as can be.  Some days are better than others.  But anyone who knows a 3year old knows thats how it goes sometimes.

Ben's new word right now (well a real word kind of) is No.  He likes to say it about everything.  *rolls eyes*  He is still learning to do things at an alarming rate.  Plus he is still my fearless one.  Doing things he shouldn't but does it anyway.  Pushes the limits!

Nothing really new here to report.  Oh except we are happy to welcome a new baby dove to our family!

This little dove hatched on December 1st, 2009.  There is another egg there, it may or may not hatch.  We are keeping our eyes open for it to hatch!
Here is a short video of the baby bird.

Here are some new photos and videos enjoy!
