Emma's 4month appointment!

Emma had her four month appointment today!  It went well.  She is 22 1/2" long and weighs 11lbs and 6 oz and her head is 42cm.  She is in the 5th and 10th percentile for her weight and height!  Doctor is happy with her weight gain and so far Emma looks healthy as ever!

I'm sad to say that our lovebird, the one I hand raised has passed on today.  We aren't sure what happened.  As she was fine this morning.

Sunny, you were such a good and sweet bird. You will be missed by us all.

2010 in Review

WHEW!  Well 2010 for the most part was an excellent year for the Gaffney family!  We did have our heart breaks but we also had our happy points as well!  Let's review 2010, shall we?

Well in Januray Matt and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary!

We also found out in January that we were expecting our third child!

We started using cloth diapers!

We welcomed new animals!

And I got to hand raise our love bird, Sunny!

We had some amazing times with friends and family!

Took many fun trips to the coast!

Had fun at the Portland Zoo!

We celebrated birthdays!

I turned 28 this past year!

Matt turned 31!

Ben turned 2!

Boo turned five!

And Lilly turned four!

And of course we were blessed with the birth of our third child, Emmelyn!

And of course all of our holidays this year were amazing!

All in all, 2010, while we had our bad times, it was a pretty good year.  I'm looking forward to see what 2011 will bring our family!  I hope your holidays and New Years was good!  Let's hope 2011 brings us all some fantastic memories!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Well, we survived Christmas!  The kids were VERY excited to get ready for Santa!

We made cookies for Santa!  Lilly did great!  Ben, well he ate more frosting and decorations than he actually put on the cookies. LOL

They then got to open one gift each!  This year it was a light up stuffy!  Cloud B makes them and the kids LOVE them! Figured it was a great gift since they both are afraid of the dark!

Then it was time to leave cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer!

Once everyone was in bed, Santa came by and dropped everything off!

Boy did the kids make out!  So did daddy and I!  Even the pups!

After all the present opening, we were exhausted and ready to check it all out!

We went up north for the day to visit with my Aunt K'Lynn, her daughter Destiny, Destiny's daughter Novallie, my mom, my sister, my niece Kadence and my grandparents.  We had a blast!
