Hello!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year.  We are hoping to set up our Christmas tree and decorations here this coming weekend.  We are getting so excited to do this.

We are potting training Lilly.  It's going as well as can be.  Some days are better than others.  But anyone who knows a 3year old knows thats how it goes sometimes.

Ben's new word right now (well a real word kind of) is No.  He likes to say it about everything.  *rolls eyes*  He is still learning to do things at an alarming rate.  Plus he is still my fearless one.  Doing things he shouldn't but does it anyway.  Pushes the limits!

Nothing really new here to report.  Oh except we are happy to welcome a new baby dove to our family!

This little dove hatched on December 1st, 2009.  There is another egg there, it may or may not hatch.  We are keeping our eyes open for it to hatch!
Here is a short video of the baby bird.

Here are some new photos and videos enjoy!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello Friends & Family!

I hope you all have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving day!  We celebrated ours this past Tuesday with our wonderful friends Noel, Rachel, Mike, John, Jere & Angie.  We did this because tonight Matt works.  We had a wonderful ham with all the fixings!  Today we are having ham again, but on a smaller size.

Now that Thanksgiving is here, next we will be setting up our Christmas stuff.  Don't forget we will be up there the week of Christmas (and of course for Christmas too!)so we hope to see you all!

Vistiors!

We had fun while my sister Kelly and her two kids Kadence and Kaylea visited with us.  We had a blast playing the Scene It Twlight game as well.  I took the opportunity to get photos of the cousins all together.  Here are some of them!

We had a blast together.  The girls loved playing together, and Ben being my little ladies man loved al the girls surrounding him.

We added Doves to our bird collection.

We have two males and two females.

They make the prettiest sounds and seem to be quite calm birds.

We haven't been up to much.   Playing with the kids, working and doing the normal things families do.  I as always stay pretty busy with the kids, house and animals.

Christmas....

Yes that is right, you read the subject line correctly!  Matt has taken the week of Christmas off this year!  So that means we will be up north!  Dad (I'll probably call you because I dunno if you read this LOL) we will be staying with you and spending Christmas morning with you if that is alright.  Mom and Dad (Matts parents) we will be spending Christmas evening with you.

Mom (my mom) and Grandma (Mathis) where are we planning Christmas eve?  Will it be at mom's again or Grandma's?  Let us know!

We are super excited to be able to spend the holidays with our families this year.

Photo's from our Halloween 2009!

Here are some photos of our Halloween this year.  The kids had a blast!  We started our morning at the Childrens Museum for a pumpkin hunt.  We then headed to the Portland Zoo for their animal scavenger hunt.  We then came home to have some lunch and rest.  We got daddy up and dressed up Boo as a pumpkin and headed to a local shopping center for some fun trick or treating! Ben passed out both at the zoo and trick or treating!  It was exhausting for him!  After we did trick or treating we headed home to have some pizza and hang out with our friends and enjoy some witches brew!  All in all the kids made out with candy and we had fun!  We had a record number of kids trick or treat at our home.  We ran out of goody bags and ended up giving away left over candy!

Enjoy our photos!

Here are some videos too!

We hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween like we did!
